Let me give you some insight of what our beer recipe repository will contain. And don't forget to let me know the features you'd like to see added!
#1. Free Beer Recipes
The Beer Recipe Management System will be a directory of beer recipes thought up, created, and shared by you and your fellow homebrewers. Looking for a particular beer style recipe? Our database will be easily searchable to find the beer recipe you are looking for.
#2. Full Recipe Creation/Management Functionality
Just like many of the online Beer Recipe Management tools online - the Foremost Brewing - Beer Recipe Management System will allow you, the owner of the recipe, to Create, Edit,Share,Import, Export, and Delete your recipes from the Recipe Management System at any time. All beer recipes submitted by you will be licensed under the Creative Commons copyright - giving you - the owner/creator of the recipe - full rights to your recipe.
#3. Access To Your homebrew Recipes From Anywhere
By storing your recipes online - you have access to it from anywhere you have an internet connection!
#4. Export and Import Your Current Beer Recipes
You will be able to easily import or export your beer recipes using the BeerXML standard. We believe you should be able to share your beer recipes between any of the many Beer Recipe Systems/Calculators out there, especially the ones you've already paid money for. We don't want to make anything obsolete, except the old way of thinking that you have to pay for anything worthwhile to use.
#5. See How Your Recipe Compares Against The Style
Trying to brew a specific beer style? Make sure you recipe hits the mark before you begin your brewing process.
#6. Share Comments With The Community On Beer Recipes
Did you try and like another homebrewer's recipe? Share your thoughts, comments, experiences with the community!
#7. FREE, FREE, FREE
I believe all of this should be accessible to the homebrew Community for FREE! You spend enough money on homebrewing equipment and ingredients - Why should you have to pay to store or create your own homebrew recipes? Your creativity should not be stifled by lack of funds, and neither should your brewing experiene!
